Every piece, a different story

None of the watercolors you see above came from a template. Each one started with a message — a photo, a half-formed idea, an "I don't know if this can be painted" — and ended up as a piece that exists only once, with the line wash technique as the common thread: ink that draws the structure, and watercolor that gives it the light.

You'll see portraits, pets, Valencia landscapes, botanical scenes and some urban sketching — different genres, but the same way of working behind all of them: pencil underdrawing, then ink, then color, on 100% cotton watercolor paper, and no two brushstrokes alike. Custom commission or print — two ways to own a piece of mine

A custom commission is one of a kind: it grows out of your own reference photo and the time I spend on that single piece alone, deciding what to tell with the ink and what to let the water resolve. No one else will ever have that exact brushstroke, that exact captured gesture — it's the difference between "a nice watercolor" and "my watercolor".

If a custom commission doesn't fit your budget or timeline right now, prints will soon be available in my Etsy shop (coming soon). They will be reproductions of my own work, painted for the pleasure of it — never of a commission. What I paint for someone belongs to them: it is not reproduced, not sold to anyone else, and never ends up as a print.
